The City of Seattle is hosting a free event tomorrow (Thursday, April 19, 2012), 6-9 p.m., at City Hall (600 4th Ave). The event will serve as an orientation to Startup Weekend GOV, which is planed for April 27-29: Do you have an idea for a new application that could help people use government information? Community ideas are needed for Startup Weekend Government, where technical developers will create new mobile apps and business ideas to help people better access government data and services. GeekGirlCONcert planned for Green Lake
GeekGirlCon is kicking off their first annual convention with a GeekGirlCONcert at The Great Hall at Green Lake (7220 Woodlawn Ave NE) on Friday, October 7, 2011. The concert will feature Marian Call, Molly Lewis and the Doubleclicks.
