A table tennis tournament is planned for March 24 and 25, 2012 at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). The 2012 Green Lake Open is being hosted by the Green Lake Table Tennis Center in cooperation with the Bellevue Table Tennis Club. There will be a total of $570 in prize money, plus trophies for all non-cash events. Entry forms are available at glttc.org.The entry deadline is March 13.

Table Tennis Showcase and Exhibition at Green Lake Community Center
The Seattle Pacific Table Tennis Club and the Green Lake Table Tennis Center (GLTTC) will present a Table Tennis Showcase and Exhibition at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 in the Green Lake Community Center gymnasium (7201 E Green Lake Drive N). Over 200 spectators are expected to attend. The event will feature 60 local students and six professional athletes from China. 2011 Seattle Table Tennis Championships coming to Green Lake Community Center
Updated Saturday, October 15, 2011 The fourth annual Seattle City Championships table tennis tournament will be held Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Green Lake Table Tennis Center (GLTTC). The GLTCC is based out of the Green Lake Community Center gymnasium (7201 E Green Lake Drive N). Anyone can enter the championships, from beginners up to Olympic level athletes. Players will compete for cash prizes, trophies, and awards. The tournament offers 20 separate events based on age, gender and level. Green Lake Community Center adult drop-in rates raised to $3
Adult drop-in rates at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) are being raised by one dollar. Starting today (April 1, 2011), adults aged 18-65 must pay $3 to participate in drop-in basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and tai chi. Senior drop-in rates are still only $2. Children and teens under 18 do not pay drop-in fees for these activities. Jeff Skinner, Green Lake Community Center Coordinator, asked us to spread the word that drop-in adult co-ed volleyball is resuming at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) until the end of the year. Teams and individuals of all skill levels are welcome. Play takes place on Fridays, 6 – 9 p.m. The cost is $2.
