Volunteers trek beer From SODO to Green Lake to promote neighborhood walkability

Yesterday’s Earth Day celebration (Sunday, April 22, 2012) at the Latona Pub (6423 Latona Ave NE) was, by all accounts, a success. The Latona Pub held the event in partnership with Feet First, Two Beers Brewing Company and Immersus Tours. Earth Day celebration at the Latona Pub

Teacher of the Year contest at the Greenlake Kidd Valley

Students aged 14 and younger can nominate their favorite teacher by filling out a nomination form at any Ivar’s or Kidd Valley location or filling out a form online. (Thanks for the tip, Beau!)   Mio Sushi, the franchise restaurant that is opening a new location at Lakeside Plaza (7900 East Green Lake Dr N), issued a press release yesterday (Wednesday, March 21, 2012). According to the press release, the Green Lake Mio Sushi will open in early April.
