Tangletown home’s new paint color to be decided by neighborhood vote

Green Canopy Homes, which is rebuilding a 1926 home at 2336 N 58th St, is asking the neighborhood to vote on the house’s color. The deadline for voting is Wednesday, May 2, 2012.  The Murphy & Dombrowski Real Estate Group plans to list the home this July.

Seattle Building Energy Benchmarking and Reporting Ordinance deadline is October 1 [UPDATED]

The legislation requires commercial and multifamily building owners to conduct annual energy performance tracking through the U.S. EPA’s Energy Star Portfolio Manager, a free and secure online benchmarking tool. Benchmarking is the process of comparing the energy performance of a building to a range of energy-performance values of similar buildings.
