Seattle Parks and Recreation is hosting April Pools Day on Saturday, April 21, 2012, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Green Lake’s Evans Pool (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). 2012 Spring Candy and Egg Scramble at the Green Lake Community Center
This year’s Spring Candy and Egg Scramble at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Kids aged three and younger will kick off the scramble at 10 a.m. Kids aged 4-7 scramble at 10:30 a.m. Kids aged 8-11 start at 11 a.m. At each scramble time, kids will gather in the community center gym and then head outside. Green Lake Community Center to host walk around the lake on National Walking Day
The Green Lake Community Center will be hosting a walk around the lake on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. The walk, which is being held in conjunction with the American Heart Association’s National Walking Day, will begin at the community center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) at noon.
The 2012 Green Lake Open table tennis tournament
A table tennis tournament is planned for March 24 and 25, 2012 at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). The 2012 Green Lake Open is being hosted by the Green Lake Table Tennis Center in cooperation with the Bellevue Table Tennis Club. There will be a total of $570 in prize money, plus trophies for all non-cash events. Entry forms are available at glttc.org.The entry deadline is March 13.
