"Open Castle" at Green Lake United Methodist Church, April 2010

The Green Lake United Methodist Church (6415 1st Ave NE, across the street from Green Lake Elementary) is holding an “Open Castle” on Saturday, April 24, 2010 (10 a.m. – noon) and Sunday, April 25, 2010 (noon – 2 p.m.). All are welcome to tour the castle, built in 1903, and enjoy free espresso drinks from the GLUMC coffee cart.  Kids are invited to create green crafts in honor of Earth Day.   There will also be an opportunity to donate to the Nothing but Nets Campaign to prevent Malaria in Africa.
