Please join us and other Seattle online media at a benefit for Northwest Harvest on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Pies and Pints (1215 NE 65th St). The event, organized by The SunBreak, is the fourth annual Blogsgiving. It is hosted by Roosiehood, Ravenna Blog, Wallyhood, My Green Lake and The SunBreak. My Green Lake receives two Northwest Excellence in Journalism awards

Last night (Saturday, May 21, 2011), My Green Lake won two Northwest Excellence in Journalism awards from the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ). The contest is held annually by Region 10 of SPJ to honor exceptional journalism in the Pacific Northwest. It includes all forms of media – print, online, radio and TV.
