Seattle Opera is offering youth two opera camps this spring and summer at at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N). “Murder—and other Foul Play” will be April 16-20, 2012, 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. By exploring the mischief and mayhem that’s such an important part of opera, students in grades 6-12 will receive age-appropriate vocal training and develop dramatic movement and stage combat skills, while having fun with opera’s glorious death scenes. ‘March Forth Fun Run’ bringing runners and marching bands to Green Lake Park
Wallingford resident Holly Westerfield is organizing a 5K and 10K run, the March Forth Fun Run, to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Green Lake Park. To register, visit the March Forth site.
