Seattle Public Schools Early Enrollment provides families an opportunity to get their school assignment and avoid the crowds of the busy spring and summer enrollment periods. All students who participate in early enrollment receive an initial assignment to their designated school. Early enrollment events are planned for several Seattle locations, including Green Lake. McDonald School triples enrollment, raises funds for language immersion classes

Our news partner My Wallingford reports that enrollment at McDonald Elementary School has nearly tripled since opening last year: When McDonald Elementary School opened last year in its temporary location at Lincoln High School (4400 Interlake Ave. N.), only about 65 students showed up for the K-5 school.
