Two domestic rabbits found at Latona and Woodlawn

Earlier today, Green Lake resident Emily Stage found two rabbits wandering in the streets near Latona Ave NE & Woodlawn Ave NE. “They seemed very domestic and were no doubt someone’s pets,” Emily says. “After knocking on some doors and getting no reply, I took them to the Seattle Animal Shelter. The case number is 4776 1-2 for anyone looking for them.” One of the rabbits is gray; the other is white with black spots.

Orange tabby missing from north Green Lake home

Timmy, a small female cat, is missing from the 2100 block of N 89th St. Timmy is about eight years old. She is a light orange tabby, and the tip of her nose is black. She has been spayed. Her owners share this information: She’s shy, and may be hiding under a deck/porch or in a garage or shed. I don’t think she’d approach a stranger or go into someone’s house, but i guess it’s possible if she were hungry enough. We love her and miss her, so hopefully if someone did take her in, they’ll see the blog and call us. We…

Dog lost in north Green Lake

Have you seen this dog? Roxy, a 16-pound white whippet/jack russell terrier mix, escaped from her leash at the north end of Green Lake Park yesterday afternoon (Sunday, April 15, 2012). She was last seen in the blackberry bushes along the north side of Meridian Ave N & N 85th St,  across the street from Bishop Blanchet High School. Roxy has tan ears and a tan circle around her left eye. She is not wearing a collar but is microchipped. According to her owners, Roxy is very skittish and will run if chased.
