Burglary at Cafe Bonjour

Cafe Bonjour (7119 Woodlawn Ave NE) was burglarized last night (Saturday, March 24, 2012) or early this morning.   Ravenna Blog reports, via twitter, that there were also some burglaries in the Ravenna neighborhood last night. Earth Day recycling event at Windermere Green Lake

Windermere Green Lake is holding a free document shredding and electronic recycling event on Earth Day (Saturday, April 21, 2012), 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., in their office parking lot (7300 East Green Lake Dr N). Some electronics will be reused for unemployed and low-income individuals and families. The remainder will be recycled through a partnership with InterConnection.org. Please check here for a list of accepted items. Document shredding will be done by Iron Mountain.

Update, Thursday April 12: Mio Sushi is now open. (Thanks for the tip, Beau!)   Mio Sushi, the franchise restaurant that is opening a new location at Lakeside Plaza (7900 East Green Lake Dr N), issued a press release yesterday (Wednesday, March 21, 2012). According to the press release, the Green Lake Mio Sushi will open in early April.
