A new bar is coming to Tangletown, according to Seattle Beer News.

The bar, called The Publican, will be located at the former home of Bandolero (2253 North 56th St).

Bandolero closed early last month. The spot was also formerly occupied by Pour House and Luau Polynesian Lounge.

Bandolero closed in early October 2011.

The new bar, ‘The Publican,’ will be opened by the owners of Fremont’s Brouwer’s Cafe and Wallingford’s Bottleworks.

“At The Publican, you can expect the same consideration and quality for beer and all distillates as you do at Brouwer’s,” Matt Bonney of Brouwer’s told Seattle Beer News. The beer selection won’t have as much of a Belgian flavor as Brouwer’s, but we’ll have a strong focus on American micros.”

Seattle Beer News also reports that The Publican will open at 10 a.m. every day and will serve all-day breakfast along with lunch and dinner.

The bar should be open by mid- to late December 2011.
