<p>A new bar is coming to Tangletown, according to <a href="http://seattlebeernews.com/2011/11/owners-of-brouwers-cafe-to-open-the-publican-in-tangletown-next-month/?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=owners-of-brouwers-cafe-to-open-the-publican-in-tangletown-next-month">Seattle Beer News</a>.</p>
<p>The bar, called <strong>The Publican</strong>, will be located at the former home of Bandolero (<a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&amp;source=s_q&amp;hl=en&amp;geocode=&amp;q=2253+North+56TH+St+seattle+wa&amp;sll=47.667338,-122.321777&amp;sspn=0.006199,0.01929&amp;gl=us&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;hq=&amp;hnear=2253+N+56th+St,+Seattle,+King,+Washington+98103&amp;ll=47.668566,-122.331433&amp;spn=0.013121,0.038581&amp;z=15" target="_blank">2253 North 56th St</a>).</p>

<p><a href="http://www.mygreenlake.com/2011/10/tangletowns-bandolero-restaurant-tequila-bar-closes/">Bandolero closed</a> early last month. <p>The new bar, &#8216;The Publican,&#8217; will be opened by the owners of Fremont&#8217;s <a href="http://brouwerscafe.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Brouwer’s Cafe</a> and Wallingford&#8217;s <a href="http://bottleworksbeerstore.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Bottleworks</a>.</p>
<p>“At The Publican, you can expect the same consideration and quality for beer and all distillates as you do at Brouwer’s,&#8221; <strong>Matt Bonney</strong> of Brouwer’s told <a href="http://seattlebeernews.com/2011/11/owners-of-brouwers-cafe-to-open-the-publican-in-tangletown-next-month/?utm_source=rss&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=owners-of-brouwers-cafe-to-open-the-publican-in-tangletown-next-month">Seattle Beer News</a>. The beer selection won’t have as much of a Belgian flavor as Brouwer’s, but we’ll have a strong focus on American micros.”</p>
<p>Seattle Beer News also reports that The Publican will open at 10 a.m. every day and will serve all-day breakfast along with lunch and dinner.</p>
<p>The bar should be open by mid- to late December 2011.</p>
