A benefit dinner for the University District Food Bank will be held Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, 5-10 p.m., at the Greenlake Bar & Grill (7200 E Green Lake Drive N) and the Eastlake Bar & Grill (2947 Eastlake Ave E). New menu and happy hour at Greenlake Bar & Grill
The Greenlake Bar & Grill (7200 E Green Lake Drive N) has a new menu. New items include Jambalaya and Bourbon & Mustard Glazed Pork. There are are also new, smaller-sized appetizers, including Mini Brats and Habanero Mac and Cheese Balls. The restaurant has also extended happy hour. Happy hour is now 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m. – close. 1,500+ runners expected at Green Lake Park this Sunday
More than 1,500 runners are expected at Green Lake Park this Sunday (Nov. 20, 2011) for the Green Lake Gobble & Mashed Potato Munch Off. The event begins at 9:10 a.m. with a free Kids Dash, followed by a 5K run/walk at 9:30 a.m. The race course can be viewed here. Runners will have the opportunity to “Burn the Turkeys” by racing against one male and one female running the event in turkey costumes.
