Free performance of “Two Faces In The Shadows” at Green Lake United Methodist Church
Green Lake United Methodist Church (6415 1st Ave NE) is hosting a performance of “Two Faces In The Shadows” on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 7 p.m. The play, which is being performed by Len Kannapell and Mark Adolph of Pair o’ ‘Postles, depicts dialogue between Judas and Peter as they discuss the last week of Jesus’ life. Admission is free.
2012 Spring Candy and Egg Scramble at the Green Lake Community Center
This year’s Spring Candy and Egg Scramble at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012. Kids aged three and younger will kick off the scramble at 10 a.m. Kids aged 4-7 scramble at 10:30 a.m. Kids aged 8-11 start at 11 a.m. At each scramble time, kids will gather in the community center gym and then head outside. 2011 Green Lake Spring Egg Scramble canceled
The 2011 Spring Egg Scramble at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) has been canceled. The popular egg hunt is a victim of the City of Seattle’s 2011-12 Budget, which had severe impacts on the Department of Parks and Recreation’s operations at Green Lake Park. In addition to losing programing space, a total of five staff positions were lost at the Green Lake Community Center and the Green Lake Small Craft Center in January. The staffing cuts had an effect on the range of class offerings at the Green Lake Community Center, as well as the hours the facility…
