UPDATE: Police say Woodland Park shooting victim was attempting to buy several pounds of marijuana at time of death
The following information has been added to the seattlepi.com story that we shared earlier today: According to a short statement from investigators, [the shooting victim, Precious Reed Jr.] was attempting to buy several pounds of marijuana from his killer. Police contend the man admitted to meeting Reed at the park to conduct the drug deal. According to police statements, the man said he had planned to sell Reed the marijuana but shot him after a struggle. Investigators claim the man’s phone records and an eye witness account also implicate the man in Reed’s slaying.
