Soft opening of the Green Lake Forza planned for Monday

The Green Lake Forza Coffee Company (6900 E Green Lake Way N) is opening its doors to the public on Monday (Jan. 16, 2012) for five days of staff training and great deals while they get their feet wet. (Update, Jan. 13 – please note that hours and operations will be limited Jan. 16-20.) The coffeeshop’s grand opening will be on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2011 at 8:14 a.m., in remembrance of the four Lakewood police officers who were shot and killed at a Parkland Forza at 8:14 a.m. on Nov. 29, 2009. ‘Thursday Night Throwdown’ latte art competition at Zoka Coffee

The Tangletown Zoka (2200 N 56th St) is hosting a latte art competition on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at 7 p.m. Drinks from the competition will be sold for a $1 donation to Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission.     Zoka Coffee Roaster and Tea Company is a My Green Lake advertiser.

Forza Coffee set to open in January

Debbie Macdonald of Forza Coffee Company sent us an update on the status of the coffeeshop, which is currently under construction in the Circa Green Lake building (6900 E Green Lake Way N).
