Candlelight Christmas Concert at the Green Lake Church of Seventh-day Adventists
The annual Candlelight Christmas Concert at the Green Lake Church of Seventh-day Adventists (6350 East Green Lake Way N) will be on Friday Dec. 16, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The concert includes Christmas music, including the Magnificat by Giovanni Pergolesi, and familiar carols performed by the Adult, Children’s and Youth Choirs and the Green Lake Church Orchestra. The concert will conclude with singing of congregational carols by candlelight. The concert is free. Two evenings of festive choral music coming to the Green Lake United Methodist Church
Frederick N. West’s Balkan-styled Christmas Cantata will be performed together with Kent Stevenson’s Gospel Magnificat at Green Lake United Methodist Church (6415 1st Ave NE) on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 advance and $20 at the door ($15 for students and seniors).
