Adult softball at Lower Woodland Park

In addition to men’s and women’s leagues, Seattle Parks and Recreation is now offering an adult Summer/Fall Co-ed Softball League on either Tuesdays or Thursdays at one of the Lower Woodland Park playfields. Games will take place at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. from August 14 – October 11, 2012. There will be a total of nine games. The two teams with the best records will receive trophies, and the first place team will also receive t-shirts. A fee of $835 is due at registration. Community invited to tailgate baseball party at the Green Lake Bathhouse

The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) invites the community to a tailgate baseball party at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 1 p.m., prior to the final performance of Itamar Moses’ baseball play Back Back Back at 2 p.m. This is a chance to meet the cast of Back Back Back, eat food, and connect with the community.
