Lifetime Learning Center’s winter quarter begins January 9; open house is this Thursday
The Lifetime Learning Center‘s Winter Quarter begins Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 and runs for eight weeks. The Lifetime Learning Center is located in the John Marshall High School building (520 NE Ravenna Blvd). The center offers daytime college-level non-credit classes for adults of all ages. Classes are taught by a faculty of retired educators and volunteer instructors. Class offerings include: Shakespeare’s Macbeth; Howard Hawks Film Review; Ancient Near East History; Mann’s The Magic Mountain; A Layman’s Introduction to Economics for Voters; and 20th Century History.
