Solarize Northwest Seattle hopes to bring community-supported solar energy to Green Lake

photo: shannonkringen Solarize Northwest Seattle, a group of Phinney Ridge, Greenwood, Ballard, Fremont, Wallingford and Green Lake residents working toward community-supported solar energy, is next meeting in Room 3 of the Phinney Neighborhood Association‘s Phinney Center (6532 Phinney Ave N). The informational meeting will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 7 p.m. This new effort is being supported by the Phinney Neighborhood Association, Sustainable Ballard, Sustainable Greenwood-Phinney, Phinney Ridge Community Council, and other like-minded organizations. Woman missing in north Seattle – UPDATED

Update, Monday, April 2, 2012: Queen Anne View reports that Heather Braaten was found dead yesterday afternoon. Original story: Heather Nicole Braaten was last seen in Ballard on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Heather, 35, has blonde hair and green eyes. She is 5′ 9″ and weighs 190 lbs.
