The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) invites you to a free youth ensemble production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Performances are scheduled for tonight (Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012) at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. All youth shows are free; however donations to the youth scholarship fund are gladly appreciated. Directed by Artistic Associate Kelly Kitchens, the Seattle Public Theater Youth Program performs their adaptation of Shakespeare’s longest work, exploring themes of treachery and revenge. Some news from Cafe Bonjour (7119 Woodlawn Ave NE): We have got our beer and wine license and will starting opening 9am-9pm daily starting Feb. 11. 2012. We added pasta to the menu starting at $7.95 , with our house made basil tomato sauce, creamy Alfredo or Creamy Pesto and Chicken. Crepes and panini are served all day. Imported and Washington wines are available by glass. On Valentine’s Day, we offer complementary suprivised kids play, so the parents can have a nice dinner at our cafe. Mid-winter break camps at Seattle Public Theater
The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) Youth Program, in partnership with Teatro Zinzanni and the Seattle Opera, is offering mid-winter break theater camps to students in grades 3-12. The camps will be held at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) Feb. 21-25, 2012. Financial aid is available.
