The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) invites the community to a tailgate baseball party at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 1 p.m., prior to the final performance of Itamar Moses’ baseball play Back Back Back at 2 p.m.

This is a chance to meet the cast of Back Back Back, eat food, and connect with the community. Kids (and adults!) can play ball and take pictures with the cast. Meet behind the Bathhouse and please bring a dish to share. After the potluck, watch the show of “baseball, bromances and brutal truths.”

Directed by SPT’s Artistic Associate, Kelly Kitchens, Back Back Back stars real-life players and fans Patrick Allcorn, Ray Gonzalez and Trick Danneker.

Does greatness always come with a price? Follow the turbulent careers of three very different professional baseball players whose steroid secrets bring them under federal scrutiny.  Go inside the locker room to witness how these teammates do battle for their careers, their honor, and the future of America’s favorite pastime.  Back Back Back is a funny and insightful work from a versatile, intelligent, and daring young playwright.

Tickets to Back Back Back may be purchased by phone at (206) 524-1300 or online.  SPT is now a part of Teen Tix and will honor the Teen Tix card in person at the SPT box office.
