From Nellie, who lives near Corliss Ave N & N 77th St.
“My big, beautiful roly-poly cuddle-bunny Pietro never made it home a couple of days before Thanksgiving, and I miss him terribly! I can only hope that perhaps he got himself locked in a garage by accident in the North Green Lake neighborhood. If anyone has seen Pietro, please call Nellie at 524-0588. Thank you!”

HE’S BACK! From his owner:
Well, last night at around 9PM I heard someone clatter through the cat door with a lusty ‘mrour’- it didn’t really sound like my talkative kitty Sascha, but since Pietro hardly ever lets out a peep, I didn’t let my hopes raise too wildly. But, whaddya know: it was the Prodigal Son returning after a good 4 1/2 days on the lam, and he was just so excited to
… be home he had to let the whole world know about it! Plus- and this is the best part- he brought with him a live mouse! (He had to work on his hunting skills, y’know.) After I released said mouse from its intended fate, Pietro insisted on making an exhaustive tour of the house before finally settling down for some high-octane cuddling sessions that didn’t really let up until this morning.
… Needless to say, I’m over the moon to have him back, and I’m so grateful to all who kept an eye out for him. He doesn’t have a single scratch on him and seems none the worse for wear; I’d love to know what went on on his Grand Adventure, but Pietro isn’t talkin…
