Beth Baker of Running Evolution and Courtney McCliment from Four Loaves are presenting a Learn to Run/Seasonal Eating Survival Clinic at Super Jock n Jill (7210 E Green Lake Dr N) on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. Beth and Courtney will tag team “to get you moving and eating the right way, and arm yourself for the holiday season, and not be in a fitness hole in January.” The clinic will include a Couch-to-5K training schedule, a running workshop for beginners, nutritional handouts and gift bags. Seattle Tibetan Youth Congress to hold vigil at Green Lake Park tonight
The Seattle Tibetan Youth Congress is holding a candle vigil at 5 p.m. this evening (Wednesday, October 12, 2011) at Green Lake Park. The event is taking place at the southwest corner of Green Lake (5900 West Green Lake Way N), near the Aqua Theater and the Green Lake Small Craft Center.
