7:30 p.m. The Seattle Public Theater at the Green Lake Bathhouse will open its 2011-2012 season with David Mamet’s The Cryptogram. [more info]
Tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011)
9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Volunteers at a work party organized by the Friends of Green Lake will remove weeds on the slope down to the cat-tails where the redwing blackbirds nest on the west side of Green Lake. [more info]
10 a.m. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Community Walk will kick off at Green Lake Park. [more info]
11 a.m. Volunteers will meet for a work party at the Woodland Park Off-Leash Area. [more info]
1-4 p.m. Cake Envy will host a grand opening party. Highlights will include hand-drawn pictures of guests with their favorite cupcakes by an on-site caricature artist, cupcake tastings and raffle drawings. [more info]
