The Seattle Public Theater at the Green Lake Bathhouse presents a free production of The Princess Bride

The Seattle Public Theater (SPT) at the Green Lake Bathhouse (7312 West Green Lake Dr N) invites you to a free Youth Ensemble production of The Princess Bride.

Directed by Shawn Belyea, the play stars the middle school ensemble, aged 9-14. Cast members include Audrey Maynard, Caleb Flynn, Charlie Yanny, Eileen MacDonald, Flora Davis, Austin O’Fallon, Helen Chamberlin, Isabel Kosaly-Meyer, Kyra Yanny, Louisa Moreno, Lyric Weiss, Maeve Flynn, Oscar Loveless, Rachel Pemberton, Sammy Powers and Sophia Clemon-Herndon. The backstage crew is comprised of Shivana Ramdin, Adam Fernandez, Maya Vesneske, Nate Mascis and Bella Yaden.

“Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles….Nothing is inconceivable as we bring this classic adventure to theatrical life,” reads a press release from SPT. “Princess Bride is the same adventure you know from the movie, but adapted to the stage–more theatrical, more immediate, more fun!”

Performances are scheduled for Friday, July 15, 2011 at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, July 17 at 2 p.m.

All youth shows are free, however donations to the scholarship fund are gladly accepted.
