Updated July 25, 2011 A bouquet of flowers has been left at Seattle’s Royal Norwegian Consulate. The consulate, which is located in east Green Lake (7301 5th Ave NE), provides services to Norwegian citizens. It covers much of Washington State and Idaho. A tag on the bouquet reads “med sympati” (“with sympathy”) and it depicts American and Norwegian flags. Yesterday (Friday, July 22, 2011), there were two terrorist attacks in Norway: a bomb explosion in Oslo and a shooting at a youth camp on the island of Utøya. At least 76 people were killed. Thanks for the tip, Patty.
