What do you think? (6 Comments) July 22, 2011 at 5:45PM

Heather just asked us to help spread the word about “Goose,” a black cat which went missing from 5th Ave NE & NE 70th St last Sunday (July 17, 2011).

Goose is a long-haired adult male. He is very shy.

Heather sent this missing cat poster:

Hi! We just saw what we think is Goose – up at 95th and 5th. He’s been hanging around a few nights now. I got him in my arms for a second but he leapt out, scared, before I could bring him in. :( My husband is leaving you all a message right now. Hope we can see him again and take him in til you can collect him. :)

I think I might have chased Goose out of our house yesterday.  Long haired black cat.  We’re at 4th Ave NE  and 75th.

Thanks very much for the note, Getrichard. I’ve alerted Heather, Goose’s owner.

Please let us know if he’s found…  Every time I see the poster on my block, I feel sad!  =(

      Hi everyone,

Heather (owner) checking in. Just wanted to say thank you for all the responses I have gotten so far, and that unfortunately Goose has not yet been found. Over the past few days I have learned that black cats all look pretty similar to each other (especially the long haired ones) so I thought I would add that he is all black, with some bald patches above his eyes, and his most defining characteristic is that he has a very bushy tail. Thanks again, and keep the tips coming!
