Green Lake from above

Sue Frause, a freelance writer and photographer, captured this excellent shot of Green Lake from the air on June 16, 2011:

Sue says that she was traveling from Victoria, BC to Seattle on a Kenmore Air flight when she got the shot, which she later shared in the MyGreenLake Flickr Pool.

    Here’s a view of the east side of the lake, taken from a different aerial perch in 1947:

    Evans Pool (1955) doesn’t appear in the older photo, of course, and neither does the Hearthstone (1964).
