Green Lake Windermere to spend a day of community service developing Bagley’s outdoor classroom

This Friday (June 15, 2011), the staff of the Green Lake Windermere office will take the day off and participate in a day of community service. Participants will be lending a hand with the development of Daniel Bagley Elementary‘s outdoor classroom and learning garden (7821 Stone Ave N). Green Lake Games to give away gaming materials and host full day of role-playing games

Green Lake Games (7509 Aurora Ave N) is celebrating Free RPG (Role-Playing Game) Day this Saturday (June 18, 2011) beginning at 10 a.m. “Once a year we devote an entire day to celebrating and promoting RPGs by giving away a ton of free gaming materials,” reads the store’s facebook page. “RPG quickstarts, adventures, dice, dice towers, nothing boring or old, and it’s all free for the taking!” Along with give-aways, the event will also feature a day of gaming. Discounted Wild Waves tickets available at the Green Lake Community Center

Discounted Wild Waves Theme and Water Park tickets are now available at the Green Lake Community Center (7201 E Green Lake Dr N). One-day passes purchased at the Community Center are only $25.00 (tax included) for all ages.  The Green Lake Community Center accepts cash and credit cards, but not checks.  (Tickets purchased at the gate at Wild Waves cost as much as $39.99 plus tax for adults.) The sales benefit Seattle Parks and Recreation teen programs, including free teen swims at Green Lake’s Evans Pool every Tuesday evening.
