Nacho, a 10-week-old male golden retriever puppy, went missing last night (Wednesday, June 22, 2011) between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Nacho’s owner, Tom Fritz, says that Nacho was last seen on their home’s deck at N 76th St at Winona Ave N. Evans Pool temporarily closed [UPDATE - The pool is now open]
Update, 1:30 p.m. – the pool is now open again. Earlier: According to the Parks Department, the main circulation pump at Green Lake’s Evans Pool (7201 E Green Lake Dr N) has failed. Parks crews have ordered a replacement and are working to get the pool reopened. The Parks Department will use the Parkways blog to announce when the pool reopens. The nearest alternative pools are Ballard Pool (1471 NW 67th St) and Meadowbrook Pool (10515 35th Ave NE).
