Seattle Tilth’s Chicken Coop and Urban Farm Tour returns this year with two stops in the Green Lake neighborhood. The self-guided tour of backyard animals and gardens will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. There are fifty urban and suburban sites on the tour. Police release sketch and surveillance images of man suspected of Greenwood abduction
Early Tuesday morning (June 21, 2011), a young woman was abducted while walking with a friend in the Greenwood neighborhood. She was later left by her abductors on a north Green Lake street. According to the SPD Blotter, the women were walking in the 9700 block of Dayton Ave N just before 1 a.m. when two Hispanic males in their 20s appeared from a darkened corner of the street.
