Washington Poison Center’s Mr. Yuk coming to Green Lake – UPDATE: Canceled

Update, Thursday 9:25 a.m.: Mr. Yuk’s visit to Green Lake has been canceled. “”I’m very sorry, but I can’t make it today because of rain,” he wrote on our facebook wall. “I can’t get my big green noggin wet! Next week’s forecast looks great though.”

Tomorrow (Thursday, June 30, 2011Mr. Yuk will be visiting Green Lake at 12:30 p.m., weather permitting.

According to the Washington Poison Center (WAPC), “the only thing that would stop him is rain!”

Mr. Yuk is famous for the green-faced stickers and the slogan, “Mr. Yuk Means No.” Photos of his appearances in the community can be seen on his facebook page.

  1. I took my daughter to one of the mr yuck awareness sites and she still remembers it …hope you have a good turn out ,such a good thing to expose your kids too
