What do you think? (1 Comment) June 28, 2011 at 10:36AM

At approximately 1:45 a.m this morning (Tuesday, June 28, 2011), an east Green Lake home was burglarized while six roommates who share the house were inside.

According to Detective Mark Jamieson, an occupant of the house, which is in the 7400 block of East Green Lake Dr N, called police to report that an “unknown male” was inside the the residence, slashing bicycle tires.

Officers from the Seattle Police Department’s North Precinct arrived and contained the house. They called the residents out of the home and searched it. The suspect was not located.

Det. Jamieson says that there were no signs of forced entry into the house, although a door on the west side of the house was open when officers arrived.  The roommates were unsure if that door had been locked.

Several items were missing from the house. As well, the cords and wires to various electronic items were cut, and the front tires of several bikes inside the house were punctured.

I’m thinking that has to have been someone with a grudge right?  It doesn’t sound random if they were puncturing tires and cutting cords.  Still, it makes me uneasy as this is just one of what seems like many lately.
