Seattle Parks and Recreation offers free beginning swim lessons for youth, ages 6 and older, at all nine of its beaches, including Green Lake’s two beaches.
The West Green Lake Beach is located at 7312 W Green Lake Dr N and the East Green Lake Beach is at 7201 E Green Lake Dr N.
Registration begins on the first day the beaches are open (June 25, 2011, weather permitting) and continues until all sessions are filled. Participants are asked to register in person at the beach. Space is limited.
Classes are held Monday – Friday, 12:15-12:45 p.m.
Session 1: July 5 – July 15, 2011
Session 2: July 18 – July 29, 2011
Session 3: August 1 – August 12, 2011
Session 4: August 15 – August 26, 2011
