The Seattle Department of Transportation will soon be installing a new left-turn arrow — a “protected left turn” — at Aurora Ave N at Winona Ave N. The new signal will provide northbound traffic on Aurora Ave N the opportunity to turn westbound onto Winona Ave N before the light changes green for oncoming southbound traffic. The signal will be installed by the end of June.

He stopped to listen and snapped this photo with his iPhone: Thank you, Thad!
