2011 Stormin’ the Lake at Green Lake Park

The 2011 Stormin’ the Lake event is scheduled for Saturday, May 28, 2011, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Green Lake Park. The free annual event gives fans the opportunity to hear from the Seattle Storm team and coaches for the first time in the season. Fundraiser for the Green Lake Relay for Life tomorrow night at Duke’s

The Green Lake Duke’s Chowder House (7858 Green Lake Dr N) is hosting a fundraiser tomorrow (Thursday, May 19, 2011) for the American Cancer Society Green Lake Relay for Life. 50% of all proceeds made during dinner that exceed the amount made by the restaurant on May 19 last year will be donated to the Relay for Life. Dinner is served 3 p.m. – 10 p.m. This year’s Relay for Life will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 and Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Lower Woodland Park track. 2011 low-cost life jacket and helmet sales at Green Lake’s Evans Pool

Seattle Parks and Recreation will sell low-cost life jackets and helmets one Saturday a month from May through September at Green Lake’s Evans Pool (7201 E Green Lake Dr N).
