Planking has come to Green Lake.
Planking, otherwise known as “the lying down game”, is ”the action of lying face down with arms to the sides of the body in unusual public spaces and photographing it,” according to wikipedia.
A shot by local photographer Laurel McConnell was recently featured on planking site “i Love Facedowns!”

Update, 9:35 p.m. - A commenter who goes by the handle “exgreenlaker” just pointed to a recent article about a 20-year-old man who plunged to his death after planking on a seventh-story balcony in Brisbane, Australia. As exgreenlaker says, “maybe not something to encourage.”
