Resident reports large police response to NE 75th St & 4th Ave NE

A resident of northeast Green Lake reports that there was significant police activity near his home earlier tonight (Tuesday, April 19, 2011). At around 10:50 p.m, according to the resident, five police cars arrived at a house that is under construction on the corner of NE 75th St & 4th Ave NE. “The cops walked away with a sleeping bag and a back pack,” the resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, tells us. “I heard the suspect say something about just sleeping in there. Man arrested for torturing and raping a woman who got into his car in the 8200 block of Aurora

2011 American Cancer Society Green Lake Relay for Life

This year’s American Cancer Society Green Lake Relay for Life will be Saturday, June 11, 2011 and Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Lower Woodland Park track. The event will run around the clock from 10 a.m. on Saturday until 10 a.m. on Sunday. Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee wants to hear from you about Seattle’s streets and sidewalks

The Seattle Department of Transportation Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC) III would like your input.
