John Usky, the General Manager of the Greenlake Boathouse (7351 E Green Lake Dr N), found a dog today (Wednesday, March 23, 2011) around 3 p.m. at the Greenlake Boathouse, a boat rental shop and espresso stand on the northeast side of Green Lake.
The dog is a male Springer Spaniel / Lab mix. He is an older dog with a black collar and no tags. He has been checked for microchips, and John has alerted the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Seattle Pet Detectives. He has also made some flyers for posting around the neighborhood.

Update, Thursday, 11:40 a.m. – From John at the Greenlake Boathouse: “The dog was scanned for microchips and no dice…but he’s in good health according to the vet. The humane society is picking him up today.”
