Green Lake’s Sunday photo: Thai Ocean Buddha

On Sundays, we feature a great shot of our park or neighborhood from the MyGreenLake Flickr Pool.

This week’s photo was shot by Benjamin Lukoff. Benjamin is the author of Seattle Then and Now, which presents archival photos of Seattle along with modern views of the same sites as they appear today.

Benjamin took this photo, titled “Green-mouthed Buddha, Thai Ocean,” on Valentine’s Day.

    Thank *you*, Amy! I love Thai Ocean. Went there once on a whim — previous to that, had always gone to Royal Palm on 65th & Roosevelt. My wife and I almost always get the same thing: yellow curry with chicken, side of steamed veggies, and yum neua (beef salad). Delicious!
