From the Seattle Office of Emergency Management: The National Weather Service says Seattle can expect between two to six inches of snow starting tomorrow [Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011] morning, enough to cause a slushy commute on Wednesday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop rapidly by the afternoon/evening, causing any water on the roadways to freeze, dramatically affecting tomorrow evening’s commute. As we saw in November, snow accumulation followed by freezing temperatures present great challenges to drivers on area streets and roadways.
