The Seattle Parks and Recreation Race and Social Justice Change Team is holding a food and clothing drive at Green Lake’s Evans Pool (7201 E Green Lake Dr N).
The drive takes place through the end of February 2011, in honor of Black History Month.
A large box outside of the pool office is being used to collect canned and packaged food, new blankets, new jackets, new socks, and other new clothing. Donated items will be forwarded to food banks and missions in Seattle.
You can leave items in the box or give them to any pool staff member.
