Metro changing some bus routing and stops

Downtown routing and bus stops will be updated in order to keep people moving during long-term construction along the Seattle waterfront and in the SODO area. “Bus riders across Metro’s service area should check winter schedules for the routes they use most often to see what’s new,” a news release from Metro advises. “They can prepare by picking up a new blue timetable and the Special Rider Alert brochure, which is also posted on Metro Online. 2011 benefit dinner for U District Food Bank at the Greenlake Bar & Grill
A benefit dinner for the University District Food Bank will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, 5-10 p.m., at Seattle’s network of Neighborhood Grills restaurants, including the Greenlake Bar & Grill (7200 E Green Lake Drive N). At least 50% of each dinner bill will be donated to the Food Bank, and 2/3 of the cost of a special $30 three-course menu will be donated.
