The Seattle Public Library is hosting a free preview of Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Massenet’s “Don Quixote” at the Green Lake Branch (7364 E Green Lake Dr N) on Thursday, Feb 10, 2011, 2-3 p.m. No registration is required.
Massenet’s “Don Quixote” is an operatic retelling of the classic tale by Cervantes about an aging Spanish gentleman who thinks he is a knight.
The previews will include recorded musical excerpts designed to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the production.
