Man arrested after dancing pants-less at a north Green Lake bus stop

A 46-year-old Seattle man accused of dancing pants-less at a Green Lake neighborhood bus stop is facing felony indecent exposure charges. According to charging documents, a passing driver called the police after spotting James R. Amundson’s bare behind at a Metro Transit stop in the 2200 block of North 80th Street. Describing the 8:30 p.m. Jan. 19 incident, the man told police he circled the block once after seeing the pants-less Amundson standing rearward to traffic, according to charging documents. On Sundays, we feature a great shot of our park or neighborhood from the MyGreenLake Flickr Pool. This week’s photo was shot by Erin Kohlenberg on Friday, Jan.21, 2011. Puget Sound Concert Opera to perform at Bethany Lutheran Church

The Puget Sound Concert Opera is performing Lakmé by Léo Delibes at Green Lake’s Bethany Lutheran Church (7400 Woodlawn Ave NE) on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 5 p.m. There is a $15 suggested donation ($10 for students and seniors).
