Each of the classes meet for five sessions. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings, Jan. 19 – Feb. 16, 2011, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Class #1: “Let Your Light Shine: Naming and Sharing Your Gifts”

Class #2: “Images of the Tree of Life: Myths, stories, art and science”
Presenters: Molly Brown and Randy Morris
What can the Tree of Life tell us about this time of cultural transition that some call the Great Turning? How can it be for us an emblem of the life-affirming changes we are called to make now to insure the quality of life of future generations? From the Jesse Tree to the many-branched scientific model of evolution, we will investigate the universal archetypal image of the Tree of Life.
Class #3: “Simplicity Parenting”
Presenter: Martha Swain
A parent and Waldorf preschool teacher, Martha Swain has received training in “Simplicity Parenting” from Kim John Payne, author of a book by the same name. Imagine your home as a place where time moves a little more slowly and you have more of it for your children, yourself, and your spouse. Imagine your child’s room uncluttered and peaceful. Imagine acquiring a deeper sense of order, rhythm and flow at home. Learn an effective path to simplify our homes, reduce our family’s stress, and make room for connection, creativity, and relaxation.
