The walk starts at noon at the Green Lake wading pool, which is located on the north end of Green Lake Park at Wallingford Ave N & East Green Lake Dr N. “Luckily,” a post about the event on Seattle Twistreads, “wigs do offer some insulation from hangovers and there’s no need to fret about bad bed-head.” The walk will happen rain or shine and kids are welcome.

Metro advises bus riders to prepare for snow showers
Snow showers are in the forecast for tonight (Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010) and tomorrow morning. King County Metro Transit is urging bus riders to prepare by signing up for Transit Alerts and by checking the snow routing for the buses they will ride tomorrow. Updates to online information will begin at 4 a.m. tomorrow. Senior housing building Olmsted Manor to receive major upgrades
Seattle Housing Authority announced yesterday (Monday, Dec. 27, 2010) that they will be soon be making repairs at Olmsted Manor, a 35-unit senior housing building located at 501 NE Ravenna Blvd. The agency is receiving $3 million from the City of Seattle’s Office of Housing to update and repair four senior housing buildings, including Olmsted Manor.
