This January, Gregg’s Greenlake Cycle (7007 Woodlawn Ave NE) will be offering a maintenance class for cyclists who want to learn how to work on their own bikes.

This class is designed to provide our students with the basic understanding and fundamentals of bicycle maintenance. We will provide each student with the basic knowledge of bicycle anatomy, fixing a flat, brake and derailleur adjustments, bearing adjustments, and truing of wheels. We feel the best way to learn something is by listening, observing, and finally performing the task yourself. This is a “hands on” course so bring your bike and be prepared to get dirty and have fun while learning a new skill at the same time.

Classes will be 6-8 p.m., on Thursday nights in January.  Tuition is $125 and the cost includes a copy of the book Zinn And The Art Of Bicycle Maintenance.
