The cafe will open this Monday (Dec. 6, 2010) and will be open daily, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., with longer hours in the spring and summer.
French pastries, organic baked goods, gluten-free products, and Zoka coffee will be available, as well as hot sandwiches priced between $5.95 and $6.95 and create-your-own salads priced from $6.95.
The cafe’s own line of tea, Seattle Best Organic Tea, will be available by the cup or pot, as well as loose and gift packaged.
A grand opening party is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 18, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. There will be live music, face painting, balloon animals, and a Wii competition. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be shared with customers who bring in food to donate to Northwest Harvest.
